I had two quotes from other companies and Ace 1 was the most expensive - but with good reason and worth every extra penny.The other two companies did not have the most solid reviews and after coming to my property to evaluate the project it took them each about a week to get me a quote. Then when it got to actually scheduling both of them weren't available to do the project for at least two to four months....right in the middle of rainy season. Yay....no thanks.I called Demetrius with Ace 1 Logistics. He answered the phone on the first call. Score. He gave me next day time slots to visit my property to evaluate and discuss the project. Double score. He said he would have a me a quote by the next day...if not by that same evening. Later that evening I received the quote. Triple score. Then when discussing scheduling (the big pause) he said he could have his crew over to my property in 3 days to begin the work. WIN!I thought maybe he would come solo or with one worker. No, he showed up on time, providing morning communications of exact time frames, with a crew of 4. They got to work immediately...and what other companies quoted as a three day project, Ace 1 got it all done in the same day.Demetrius and his crew were professional, courteous and respectful. Always in communication and explaining project details and never assuming any aspect; always consulting me on areas of question. The project was about 98% done that day with some minor details that needed to be completed. He conveyed it would be within the next three days because of scheduling conflicts, but each day he communicated any delays - not leaving me hanging wondering when he was going to come back.Fast forward about 3 days and on the other side of my property I was in my yard repairing broken sprinkler heads broken during a years worth of home addition construction. Turns out the construction process broke more than the sprinkler heads, the heavy equipment had crushed a major drain pipe that took gutter down spout water to the street. As I was digging up the crushed section, I began to see LOTS of that drain pipe was crushed. So I called Demetrius.Told him I need help again. He showed up three days later and together, he and I, dug up 45 feet of crushed drain pipe that was half under the edge of my paver driveway. 90% of that 45 foot pipe was crushed and/or packed with solid dirt. No water was getting through it. His crews were busy on other projects so it was him solo just I rolled up my sleeves and got dirty as he and I began replacing the pipe. It was a tough dig too, because the pipe laid about 12 inches below the concrete border used to hold the driveway pavers in place...the concrete border made it challenging and it wasn't a simple open yard dig. Two days later we got it all fixed and I no longer had to worry about large volumes of water gutting out sink holes underneath my paver driveway. Not only did we repair and replace the entire length of drain pipe but we greatly improve the original design by the original home builder.After that 2nd project was complete....not TWO days later I had tree service in my yard clearing out bamboo growing into my property from my neighbors yard. I explained to them where the French Drain was and what was laid under the soil by Ace 1's crew, but it didn't matter. The tree service brought in a stump grinder to get the root ball of the bamboo (to kill it) and sure enough the grinder tore up the lift station (pump) barrel buried in the ground that Demetrius had JUST installed. I called Demetrius, explained the situation, and three days later he was back on site and replaced the heart of the entire French Drain system he literally had just installed a week prior.As I said in the beginning, he was the most expensive of the quotes, but now you know why he is worth every penny of it. You get what you pay for. Ace 1 Logistics, will be the ONLY drainage company I ever recommend and hopefully I don't need anymore work, but if I do I will, they will be the only one I call.
